Jad Silk Velvet Gilet

Deep blue silk velvet gilet with a cropped, straight silhouette, a deep, rounded neckline and a sleeveless cut. Contrasting blue-grey sfifa and hand-embroidered details trace the neckline, front, armholes and hem. Handmade silk aakaids buttons fasten through the front. A versatile layering piece to wear over a simple top, a crisp shirt or a flowing kaftan, bringing texture and Moroccan craftsmanship to everyday looks and occasion dressing alike.

Handmade in our atelier in Morocco, with buttons crafted by women artisans in the mountains of Sefrou and sfifa trims by master artisans. Ancestral Moroccan techniques, reimagined in contemporary silhouettes for you.

How to measure

Use a soft measuring tape over light clothing or underwear. Stand naturally and keep the tape level. Take each measurement without tightening the tape.

Bust

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, passing under your arms. Keep it level across your back.

Waist

Measure around your natural waist, at its narrowest point. Keep the tape comfortably close without pulling it tight.

Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.

Length: Use the length shown on the product page. For a kaftan or djellaba, compare this with the distance from the top of your shoulder to your preferred hemline, allowing for the shoes you plan to wear.
